50 cents per bird and 50 cents per bird coop fee (to be added after your entries are totaled)
Limited to only 2 entries under one class number
Judging Time - 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21st
RULES

  1. This show is sponsored by the Will County Fair Association.
  2. If you do not have band numbers DO NOT ENTER.
  3. All birds must be seamless banded - others must be banded with a seamless band (split bands may be used). Only one band per bird.
  4. All birds must be owned by the individual exhibiting.
  5. All birds showing evidence of disease will be barred from show.
  6. All rules regarding showing of pigeons must be obeyed and in case of differences, same will be interpreted by the Judge and Superintendent.
  7. All exhibitors must purchase an Exhibitor’s Ticket.
  8. Entries to be made at the Fair Office or be mailed to Will County Fair Association. Entry Fee 50 cents per bird and 50 cents per bird coop fee.
  9. All birds must be in show coops by 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21st. Superintendent will receive birds to be cooped on Tuesday evening, August 20, after 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 21 until 8:00 a.m.
  10. All birds must be listed on entry blank: Class number, breed, color, sex (Old Cock, Old Hen, Young Cock, or Young Hen).
  11. All exhibitors must show band number on coop card. Do not put band number on entry form.
  12. No substitutions will be made upon entering birds, other than the following: All birds to be substituted must be the same sex and color as those entered on the entry blank. No others will be accepted. All old birds must be substituted for old birds and young birds for young birds. This applies to all entries - no exception will be made by the show Superintendent.
  13. The judge’s decision will be final. No protest will be entertained except where it is evident actual fraud has been committed. Exhibitor’s or their agents will not be allowed to converse with the Judge during judging. This rule will be strictly enforced.
  14. Exhibitors not permitted to handle birds other than their own.
  15. Exhibitors will be required to keep their exhibits at the Fair from Wednesday, August 21, through Sunday, August 25, and are responsible for the feed and care of their birds for the duration of the fair.
  16. Positively no birds will be released until announced Sunday, last day of the fair.
  17. Exhibitor is limited to not more than two entries under one class number, except Department H-10, Junior Pigeon Show exhibitor is limited to one entry per class number.
  18. All wildlife (pheasants, quail & partridge) need to be tested for pullorum typhoid, unless exhibitor is a member of NPIP in good standing.
  19. All birds must be shown by their owner. If this is not possible, the exhibitor must notify the superintendents or one of the assistant superintendents. Decisions will be made at the superintendent’s discretion.
